Direct-to-Garment (DTG) mockups: what ThreadCam shows
ThreadCam's print file export (Pro, iOS) outputs a transparent PNG on a 12 x 16 inch canvas at 300 DPI, the standard adult DTG front print area, built from your placed artwork.
What a ThreadCam mockup is good for
- Checking the size and position of your design on a 3D garment from every angle.
- Trying the design on different garments and fabric colours before ordering samples.
- Product photos and short camera-animated videos for listings and social posts.
Surface finishes such as texture, sheen or raised ink are not simulated, so judge those on a physical sample from your printer.
