Walking T-Shirt: An Animated 3D Tee Mockup
The Walking T-Shirt is ThreadCam's animated garment: a 3D tee that moves as if a person is walking in it, with your design on the chest. It is free, and it is the fastest way to get a moving product clip for TikTok, Reels or an ad without a model or a photographer.
Why use a moving mockup?
Static mockups all look alike in a feed. A shirt that moves shows how the print sits as the fabric shifts, which is closer to what a customer sees in real life and gives a short video something to hold attention with.
How to record a walking tee video
- Pick Walking T-Shirt in the T-Shirts category; the animation plays on a loop.
- Add your artwork and position it on the chest.
- Choose a background. HDR scenes such as Sunset or Night add real lighting to the fabric.
- Pick a camera move and record. ThreadCam counts down, plays the move and saves the clip to Photos.
Free and Pro
The Walking T-Shirt is one of the two free garments. On the free plan, exports and video previews carry a ThreadCam watermark; Pro removes it.
Questions
Can other garments be animated?
Not currently. The Walking T-Shirt is the only animated model. Every garment can still be filmed with the camera moves.
