Terms of Service

ThreadCam is made by Ruvix Ltd (Ruvix Labs, "we", "us"). These terms apply when you use ThreadCam on iPhone, on Android or in your web browser at threadcam.com, including the online studio (together, "ThreadCam").

By using ThreadCam you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer that the law says can't be excluded.

ThreadCam lets you put artwork on 3D clothing, create designs with AI, and export mockup photos, videos and print files. The mockups are visual previews. How a finished garment looks depends on the printer, the blank and the print method you choose, so always check your print provider's own requirements before you order.

You can start in the web studio without an account. We give your browser an anonymous account so your AI credits and purchases have somewhere to live. If you sign in with Google, Apple or email, we link that sign-in to the same account so you keep your credits, purchases and saved designs on other devices.

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens under your account. If you only use the studio without signing in, clearing your browser data can lose your designs and the link to any credits you bought, so sign in before you buy if you want to keep them.

• AI features use credits. One AI design (a new design, an edit, or a "see it worn" photo) uses 6 credits. Plans and packs are shown as a number of AI designs so you know what you're getting.
• We check your balance before the AI starts. If a request fails, the credits for it are given back automatically.
• Credits are service credits, not money. They can't be exchanged for cash, transferred or sold.
• A subscription adds its credits at the start of each billing period. A one-off pack adds its credits once. Unless we tell you otherwise when you buy, credits don't expire while your account exists.
• We may refuse or stop a request that breaks these terms (see Acceptable use). If we do, the credits for it are given back.

On the web. Prices, what's included and the billing period (weekly, monthly or yearly) are shown before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the price shown, until you cancel.

Web payments are handled by Stripe. Web subscriptions are sold through Onelink, Stripe's merchant of record service, as shown at checkout: Onelink takes the payment, adds and pays any sales tax or VAT, sends your receipt and can help with billing questions. Onelink's terms shown at checkout also apply to the payment. The subscription itself is provided by us under these terms, and your plan is managed through AppRefer, our subscription service, so it works across ThreadCam. We never see or store your full card details.

Cancelling on the web. You can cancel online at any time using the manage link in your receipt email from Onelink, Manage subscription in the studio, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next renewal: you keep your plan and its credits until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.

One-off credit packs are a single payment. They don't renew and there's nothing to cancel.

On iPhone and Android. In-app purchases are billed by Apple or Google. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and you manage or cancel them in your Apple ID or Google Play settings. Refunds for those purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.

We may change prices for future periods. If the price of your subscription goes up, we'll tell you before it applies and you can cancel before then.

If something went wrong, email support@ruvixlabs.com with the email on your account and the date of the charge. We review refund requests case by case, and we're fair about it: for example, if you were charged for a renewal you didn't mean to keep and haven't used it, or a fault on our side stopped you using what you paid for. Refunds go back to your original payment method.

Our print-file guarantee: Printful rejects your file? We give your credits back. If a print provider such as Printful rejects a print file you exported from ThreadCam because of the file itself, send us their message and we'll return the AI credits you spent on that design.

This doesn't limit any legal right you have to cancel or get a refund. If you're in the UK or EU, you ask us to make AI credits available straight away, so your 14-day right to cancel ends once you start using them.

You can order a garment printed with your design, for example from the ThreadCam app in ChatGPT. Each item is made to order for you and printed and shipped by our print partner, Printful. You pay on threadcam.com through Stripe.

Prices are in US dollars. The price and shipping you see before checkout don't include sales tax or VAT; any tax due is worked out and added at checkout, before you pay. Some countries charge import duties or taxes when the parcel arrives; those are set by your country and paid to the carrier, not to us. Delivery times are estimates from the print partner and the carrier.

The garment is a real product, so it can differ slightly from the 3D mockup: colours vary between screens and fabrics, and print size and position can shift a little. You must have the right to print the artwork you send us.

Because each item is personalised, we can't take returns or exchanges if you change your mind or pick the wrong size, and once printing has started an order can't be cancelled. If your item arrives damaged, misprinted or isn't what you ordered, email support@ruvixlabs.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll reprint it or refund you. If a parcel is lost in transit, tell us and we'll sort it out with the carrier. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.

You own the artwork you upload and the designs you make in ThreadCam, as far as the law allows (in some countries, purely AI-generated images may not be protected by copyright at all). We don't claim ownership of them.

You may use your designs, mockups, videos and print files commercially: sell them on t-shirts and other products, on Etsy, Shopify, Printful or anywhere else. Free exports may carry a ThreadCam watermark.

You're responsible for making sure what you sell doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. AI can produce images that look like existing brands, logos, characters, artworks or real people, and it's up to you to check before you print or sell. Don't upload or ask for other people's trademarks, characters or copyrighted art unless you have permission.

So we can run ThreadCam, you give us a limited licence to store, process and display your content only to provide the service to you (for example, to save your designs, send prompts and images to our AI provider, and create your exports). We don't use your designs in our marketing without asking you.

You agree not to use ThreadCam to:

• Create or upload anything illegal, sexual content involving minors, hateful or harassing content, or content that encourages violence
• Copy other people's trademarks, logos, characters or artwork, or make images of real people without their permission
• Mislead people, for example fake endorsements or designs that pretend to be official merchandise
• Get around credit limits, paywalls or security, share one paid account publicly, or resell access
• Scrape, overload, reverse engineer or copy ThreadCam or our 3D models
• Upload viruses or harmful code

We (and our AI provider) may refuse prompts or images that break these rules, and we may suspend accounts that keep doing it.

ThreadCam itself, including the apps, website, studio, 3D garment models and our own designs and samples, belongs to Ruvix Ltd and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. These terms don't give you rights to it beyond using ThreadCam as intended.

We work hard to keep ThreadCam running well, but it's provided "as is" and "as available". We can't promise it will always be available or error-free, that AI results will match what you imagined, or that a print provider will accept every file. We may change or remove features; if we remove something you've paid for, we'll offer a fair remedy.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or business, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We don't exclude liability that can't be excluded by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You can stop using ThreadCam at any time. Cancel any web subscription first. To delete your account and your saved designs, email us. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date, and if a change matters for a paid plan we'll tell you before it applies. See also our Privacy Policy.
