AI Design Studio: Generate Apparel Graphics
AI Design Studio is ThreadCam's built-in graphic generator. Describe the design you want, or give it a photo to transform, and it returns an apparel-style graphic you can place straight onto a 3D garment. It is for makers who have an idea but not a finished file.
What can it make?
- Designs from a text prompt, with style options such as Sticker, Minimal, Vintage, Streetwear, Mascot and Luxury.
- Photo transforms that cut out the subject of a photo and restyle it, for example as a sticker, a vintage merch graphic, a clean logo or an embroidered-patch graphic.
- Quick edits on a result: variations, cleaner edges, a sticker border, an embroidered look, new colours, or a print-ready clean-up.
Quality levels and credits
Each generation uses AI credits. Draft is the cheapest and fastest for trying ideas; Standard gives sharper detail; Premium spends the most credits for the highest fidelity. Credits are bought in the app as packs or a credit subscription, separate from ThreadCam Pro. Check current prices in the app.
Prompts that name well-known brands or characters are blocked, so use your own ideas and marks.
What the embroidered look is, and is not
The embroidered styles produce a flat image with a thread-like texture. On the 3D garment it looks like a patch design, printed flat. ThreadCam does not simulate raised stitching, so use it to judge a concept, and use a real sew-out to judge the final embroidery.
