Free T-Shirt Mockup Generator
Upload your design, choose a t-shirt fit and colour, and download a PNG mockup of your artwork on a 3D shirt. It runs in your browser: no sign-up, and your image never leaves your device.
Your image stays on this device: the mockup is drawn in your browser and nothing is uploaded.

Need a hoodie, a cap, a video or a print file? The ThreadCam app does those too.
How to make a t-shirt mockup
- Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP of your design, or drop it onto the shirt.
- Pick a fit (Regular, Oversized or Boxy) and a shirt colour.
- Choose where it goes: centre chest, left chest or full front, then fine-tune the size.
- Pick a straight-on or angled view and a background, including transparent.
- Download the mockup as a 1600 × 2000 pixel PNG.
Where the design lands
This tool uses the same 3D shirts and placement sizes as the ThreadCam studio, so a size you set here matches the same setting there: at 100% your design is 40% of the width of the front print area, and each fit has its own measured print area. Left chest is small and off to the wearer's left; full front fills most of the chest.
For more on moving and layering several graphics, see placing designs on 3D clothing. To compare every fit, including long sleeve and V-neck, see the 3D t-shirt mockups in the app.
A mockup is not a print file
The PNG you download here shows the shirt, for a product listing, a pre-order post or a quick check with a client. A printer needs something different: the artwork alone, on a transparent canvas, at the size and position you chose.
ThreadCam Pro exports both. Read how photo, video and print file exports work, or turn the same mockup into a short clip with camera moves for mockup videos.
Questions
Is this t-shirt mockup generator free?
Yes. You can make and download as many mockups as you like on this page without an account. Each PNG has a small ThreadCam credit in the corner.
Is my artwork uploaded anywhere?
No. The image is read and drawn by your browser on your own device. It is not sent to ThreadCam or anyone else.
What files can I use?
PNG, JPG or WebP up to 25 MB. A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result. If your design sits on a plain white or single-colour background, the tool can make that background transparent for you.
Can I put the design on the back or on a hoodie?
Not in this free tool, which covers the front of three t-shirt fits. The ThreadCam app has hoodies, sweaters, caps and bottoms, plus videos and print files.
Is the mockup a print file?
No. The download is a picture of the shirt for listings and posts. A printer needs the artwork itself as a print file at the size and position you chose; that export is part of ThreadCam Pro.
